Our "Maternity Plans" are supplemental Hospital Indemnity Plans which pay you daily cash benefits when you are hospitalized, including hospital stays for pregnancy, and work with every hospital.
Our Maternity Plans work with all major medical insurance plans. Our Maternity Plans are NOT major medical insurance and are NOT intended to take the place of any insurance you already have. (If you don’t already have major medical insurance, click here.) Rather, our Maternity Plans are designed to supplement and fill in the gaps left open by your major medical plan (e.g. deductibles, coinsurance, missed pay from work, etc.).
Our Maternity Plans pay you directly—not the hospital or doctor so you can use them with any provider nationwide. And if your major medical insurance covers all of your maternity costs, you can use the extra money you receive to buy all those fun baby things (like diapers) or even take a trip to see the grandparents.
Our plans are very affordable and vary in benefits and price according to age, the benefit level you choose, and the length of your hospital stay (the longer you stay, the bigger your benefit). The important thing is that all of the plans save you money.
These plans must be in place ten months before the baby is born to receive the benefit. We recommend starting them at least a month before getting pregnant.
